Here are a few of our personal favorites!!
2700 Dollywood Parks Blvd., Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
Dollywood is Dolly Parton’s (country singer) appalachian-themed Park consisting of rides and a museum of her costumes and memorabilia. If you are traveling with kids, it’s impossible to be in Tennessee and not go to this theme park. It is a must-see attraction. It’s recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Its unique feature is that it’s located in the mountains and the majority of rides are family friendly. Dollywood’s Splash Country water park operates May to September. Pro Tip: Download the Dollywood app on your phone. It is a wealth of information and helps you navigate the park flawlessly.
131 The Island Dr, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
A free attraction located in Pigeon Forge where the Big Wheel is located. You park and there is a free trolley to the island. Make sure you don’t forget the Famous Gondola wheel to see the city from above.

765 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
The chairlift is a classic Gatlinburg tradition that departs from downtown Gatlinburg to the top of the mountain. It is a must do (if you are not scared of heights). The newest edition is the Skybridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America and the most spectacular experience in the Smokies.
1339 Ski Mountain Rd, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
So many attractions in one location (alpine slide, ski coaster, ice skating, scenic chairlifts, wildlife encounter, carousel, in winter snow tubing, ski and snow boarding). If you are planning to go in winter buy pre-advanced tubing tickets as these sell out quickly, we encourage you to buy several weeks out.
340 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
An incline train takes you 300 feet straight up to the Mountaintop above the city. Two 18-hole courses with lots of challenges make for a must do with the family. Kids love it and adults too. There are a lot of mini golf attractions in the area but this is by far one of the best.
306 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN (Traffic Light #2) 37738
This is a fairly new attraction in downtown Gatlinburg. It’s a coaster that will slide you through the mountain side on a sled-like cart. You control the speed. It is fun for both adults and children.
576 Parkway Gatlinburg, TN 37738 (traffic light #5)
